Woodlands Child Photographer | Mommy and Me

We set up the cutest little fairy tale first birthday session for this little princess.  I am beyond excited to share these images of our mommy and me birthday photo shoot!

Mom, Storri, had requested we incorporate a fall set-up complete with colorful pumpkins and bright sunflowers.  As a Woodlands child photographer, I have some amazing props in my collection and we found a pumpkin large enough to tuck June in for an adorable fall photo complete with a sunflower headband!  I love how cute her chubby little legs look tucking out!  As she starts walking more over the next few months, her legs will become more muscular, fo first birthdays are usually some of the last opportunities we have to get photos of those little rolls and tiny toes.

Fun on the Flower Hoop

We used my flower hoop for some sweet fairy photos.  I thought she looked absolutely gorgeous in her lavender dress tucked among the petals and vines, and her emerging toddler curiosity made for the cutest shot of her picking up one of the flowers.  

Of course no first birthday session would be complete without a cake smash!  We decorated this high chair with a colorful garland and outfitted June with a crown, just as a princess should have. She was full of smiles and giggles as she tried the icing.

June was so sweet and cooperative for each setup and we wrapped up this full session in an hour, pretty awesome! Storri was gorgeous and we even did a few photos with the two grandmothers with sweet June.
