Being a Woodlands Photographer specializing in fine art photography, I rarely get to capture little boys in photographs, my clientele seems to lean more towards little girls! However when sweet A’s mom contacted me because she wanted to get photos of her son I was so excited! Her ideas of newsboy cap and suspenders is right up my alley!

When I first met A he was a little shy but I think he took to me pretty well. His infectious smile kept me smiling the whole time too! We had fun being a little boy, kicking dirt, playing in the leaves, running through bubbles, all capturing his amazing personality in photo form! His mom says that his favorite character is the roadrunner, and he also loves to watch Tom and Jerry cartoons. He loves to laugh and if it was up to him he would be outside all day. He even talked to me about his favorite zombie video games!!

I think his personality came through on each photo, representing a playful time of his youth. And the newsboy theme was absolutely adorable on him!

Each milestone session booked will be representative of your child’s personality.

Laci is a Woodlands Photographer servicing The Woodlands, TX and Houston, TX areas.

I want to wish everyone a safe and happy 4th of July Holiday weekend! Land of the free because of the brave. Celebrate America and enjoy your families!!

There are a lot of fun events going on in the Woodlands, TX to celebrate the 4th of July. Starting on July 3rd the Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion will host the Houston Symphony’s Star Spangled Salute at 8pm, with free activities outside the pavilion starting around 6:30pm. Then starting at 9am Monday morning July 4th will be the Annual 4th of July parade which will flow through Grogans Mill and through Market Street. This is always a fun event to honor our country and its freedom, my daughter enjoys this very much. Last year they had lot of entertainment on Market Street as well, and lot of the vendors handed out tickets and temporary tatoos to the little kids!

Also all day (from 10am-6pm) the Woodlands Township hosts free splash day, so all of the 14 local township pools are free entry to anyone and each has its themed activity for the 4th! We loved this last year as they had face painting, decorations, music and more! Come ready to celebrate!

Lastly the Red White and Blue Fireworks extravaganza starts at 6:30pm with lots of activities about both North Shore Park and Town Green park near Market Street. The Fireworks are scheduled to begin around 9:15pm.

As a Woodlands Family photographer you need a break sometimes from the hustle and bustle of every day life and honestly this crazy Texas heat!! My family and along with our friends headed out to Estes Park, CO and Breckenridge, CO to get away and it was absolutely amazing.

Colorado has some of the most amazing scenery backdrops I have seen. There was still snow in the mountains in June and my sweet girl got to see snow for the first time ever when we went a top Trail Ridge Road and at the activity centers in Breckenridge. To see the pure joy on her face just playing in tiny amounts of snow was priceless to me!! I took tons of photos (of course!) and I won’t bore you with all 900 of them, but here were three of my very favorite photos I took as we were out and about at the vacation rental home.

I would recommend highly a mountain vacation in the dead heat of the summer here, it was a little warm at the bottom of the mountain but when you traveled to do the activities partly up the mountains it felt amazing! I believe in Keystone it was around 50 degrees at the top with a breeze, it was awesome. My daughter had a wonderful time hiking, swimming, snowman making, and loved all of the activities that each resort had to offer! It made it even better having her sweet best friend with her to share all the memories.

However, I am now back and taking on sessions, and fall sessions are starting to schedule! Fall sessions reserve quickly, so if you want to book a spot prior to my schedule filling up, do so now! If you want to reserve your session, please click here.
