That’s why I’m here to guide you every step of the way and make the experience as relaxed and enjoyable as possible. Let me walk you through what you can expect during your family photo session with Laci Leigh Photography.
Before Your Session We’ll start with a conversation about your family’s unique vibe, what you’re hoping to capture, and any special details you want to include. Whether it’s your child’s silly giggles, your toddler’s curious expressions, or a family tradition you’d love to showcase, I’m all ears. We’ll also discuss the perfect location and outfit coordination to ensure everyone looks and feels their best.
During the Session When the day arrives, I want you to relax and enjoy the experience. I’ll greet you with a warm smile and take a moment to connect with everyone, especially the kids. Building trust is so important for creating those authentic, joyful moments.
My sessions are designed to be a mix of gently guided poses and natural interactions. I’ll give you simple directions, like holding hands and walking together or sharing a big family hug, but I’ll also encourage playfulness and laughter. These candid moments often become the most cherished memories captured in your photos.
For kids, I like to keep things fun and engaging—whether it’s playing a quick game, telling jokes, or letting them show off their favorite stuffed animal. If little ones need a quick break, that’s totally fine! We’ll go with the flow to keep the experience stress-free.
After the Session Once our session wraps up, the excitement continues! I’ll carefully sort through the images, selecting the best ones to reflect the warmth, love, and joy of your family. You can expect to receive a gallery filled with beautifully edited photos that capture your family’s unique connection. You will receive a proof gallery, which is softly editing, for you to chose your favorites, then I will fully edit those images once selected!
You’ll have the opportunity to download your favorites, share them with loved ones, and even order high-quality prints to display in your home. Whether it’s a framed portrait for your living room or an album to look back on for years to come, these photos are meant to be treasured.
