Vintage Truck Mini Sessions in The Woodlands

There’s something nostalgic about an old vintage truck, especially with adorable kiddos filling the back as they climb on the wheel hubs, dangle their little feet off the tailgate, and wrestle on a blanket spread out for watching the sun set. I think back to my own childhood. During the long summer days, there was nothing better than sipping some lemonade with friends on the tailgate beneath a shady oak tree. And in the winter, we’d all climb in with a bunch of cozy blankets, sometimes in front of a warm campfire. We’d just chat and laugh until our parents told us it was time to come inside. I guess that’s why the vintage truck theme has been so popular. It’s so reminiscent of those carefree days.

2018 was actually the first year I’ve done Vintage Truck Mini Sessions in Spring, Tx, and they were a huge hit! We found the most amazing old teal-colored truck, and my clients were adorable as always. I enjoyed getting to see some old faces (wow, these kiddos grow so fast!), and I met some new ones, too! To match the teal vintage look, we added some farmhouse-style props: crates, burlap, Christmas-themed feed sacks, holiday wreaths—the whole shabang. And you can’t have Christmas pictures without a little plaid, so I added a snuggly blanket for the kids to sit on. I love how they came out—so classic!
