Annual Woodlands Bluebonnet Mini Sessions

Springtime in Texas is truly a sight to behold. Depending on where you are in the state, wildflowers show off their short-lived beauty along every highway, open field, and serene pasture from mid-march to early-June. The Indian paintbrushes, Mexican hats, buttercups, and sunflowers are spectacular enough to draw crowds from all over. But the most well-known flower of them all—the crown jewel of Texas—is the bluebonnet. Thanks to Lady Bird Johnson who took charge of the Highway Beautification Act and planted native seeds along state highways, fields of blue span as far as the eye can see. There’s no arguing that spring is the best time for a relaxing Texas road trip.

I know you have seen families pulled over on the side of the road trying to take family pictures, but I think this long-standing Texas tradition calls for some professional photos. I’d love to capture those sweet moments for you as your kids play among the petals. As a natural light photographer, this is my expertise!

Immediate Family – 10 Images, $375

Please Note: Bluebonnet sessions are unpredictable. Please make sure you are flexible with dates the last three weeks of March and first week of April.
