I was absolutely ecstatic I was able to snag a session spot for the always on point Oak Atelier themed Hanging Garden Session for Mothers Day sessions! This venue is absolutely breathtaking undecorated but then adding in the them of the hanging flowers and oh my goodness!! We are going to take some GORGEOUS photos here!! I have done the Oak Atelier’s themed sets for several years now including the Mothers Day Spring Floral Sets, The Fall Autumn Allure sets, and the Christmas Tree Setup, as well as shot many many family unthemed shoots there. They never ever disappoint with the setups!!! This setup will be gorgeous for Mothers Day, for a family session, Maternity session or a quick senior session!

Oh my goodness how excited I am to be able to snag a spot to shoot at the Life in Rose Farm in Magnolia! This place is just GORGEOUS with the Rose Garden and glasshouse as a backdrop!! The sessions will be in the morning as the most gorgeous light is there in the AM hours! These sessions are perfect for families, mommy and me, maternity or even seniors looking for some quick photos. The images will be beyond gorgeous!

What type of session should I book?

Such a great question! I have four different packages, to fit most budgets and needs. Each session is customized to you (unless its a themed mini!)

Petite Session – this is a year round unthemed mini session basically. These sessions are short and sweet, 15-20 minutes long and come with 10 digital images chosen from a proof gallery. These are done locally in a choice of four locations in The Woodlands, TX area. These are perfect for those who just want quick updated photos, for those whose kids or husbands may not want to take a long time or have a long attention span haha! Family, child only, maternity or seniors with a quick need without outfit changes can use this session time. This is not for extended families (grandparents, aunts, uncles cousins etc) or newborns. Venue rental fees will be added to studio rentals if requested.

Full Family Session – Session can booked weekday or weekends, typically around 30 minutes long and comes with 25 images chosen from a proof gallery. These are done locally within the Woodlands, TX area. This is also great for families that don’t have a lot of time or don’t have the attention for an hour long session. Perfect for summer time when its hot! We capture your time together and get some amazing images.

Luxe Family Session – Session can be booked weekday or weekends, typically around 30-45 minutes long but up to one hour if needed. This package comes with 35 digital images chosen from a proof gallery and 20% off any professional print products if you so chose. If you want lots of images, and more time and not to feel super rushed, this is perfect for you. These can be done with in a radius of the Woodlands (I have several location options to chose from). This is not for extended families (grandparents, aunts, uncles cousins etc) or newborns. Venue rental fees will be added to studio rentals if requested.

Storyteller Session – the ultimate session. Up to one hour session (can be faster if needed) you get 50 digital images chosen from a proof gallery and a 8×8 custom album. This is for the client that want to take their time and capture the little moments between the smiles. The perfect family fun and authentic self photos. Storyteller sessions have my heart. These sessions are just perfect. Venue rental fees will be added to studio rentals if requested.

Themed Mini Sessions – offered a few times of year in Spring, Summer and Fall. These are for clients who want quick updated family or milestone photos, with a theme. These sessions are typically 10 minutes with 5-7 images chosen from a proof gallery. These session are booked back to back to back on specific days. If you miss a themed session release, the Petite session will be right for you.

When to book Senior Photos

Senior Class 2023!

You have just a few short months left until you start your life after high school! Such a fun time with so many fun events coming up to mark the end of this chapter of your life. Now is the time to get on the schedule for your last minute Senior pics this Spring! March and April are perfect for photos, its right before it gets super hot and muggy again and all the leaves turn back green I’d love to see you and help you capture your Senior year!

The best time for a Senior Photo session in the Woodlands TX and Houston area is either October/November or March/April!! It all depends on the aesthetic you are going for!

Do you want the fall colors? Do you want the changing of the leaves and the option to wear sweaters and boots? Do you still want it warmer but not 100 degrees? Do you need the photos for the year book? Then fall is perfect for you!

Or would you rather greens, and flowers and just the new beginnings of Spring time? More flowy summery outfits? Then definitely book a Spring photo session! March and April are perfect times as the weather still isn’t unbearably hot yet and we can get the blooms of the season!

Location choice matters for when you chose as well. If you want urban, you can chose any time of the year because the look never changes, however if you are wanting a more wooded/natural location, make sure to plan according to your favorite season!

I have three different senior packages to fit your needs. Luxe, Full or Petite. Each one has its own time limits and digital image options. All sessions come with digital images so you have the choice to print where you want and also get what products you want. The Luxe Senior session also comes with 20% off professional print products!

Words cannot express how thankful I am I get to do what I have always loved to do. Your support means so much to me. I always get so teary eyed when I think back to each session and how much joy each of you brought into my life even if momentarily. Meeting so many new faces and always seeing so many familiar faces, I adore each family I meet.

Making a collage of my sessions this year (minus those who elected to keep images private) Just brought me so much joy!!! I am pretty sure every time I did a session, I thought this is my favorite session ever! I just love love love what I get to do!
